Community Proof – Delivery Chest with Cooler
A wooden delivery chest with a planned cooler option for grocery and food deliveries. Cooler design, capacity and cooling performance are still being worked out.
Both products are in development and are not yet available to order. Pricing, specifications and release dates will be announced as development progresses. Cooling temperatures and hold times have not been established.
01 / THE IDEA
Your porch shouldn't
look like a mailroom.
Packages often end up exposed beside the front door. A delivery cabinet should help protect them without looking out of place at home.
I'm developing a wooden cabinet with the character of custom outdoor furniture: a finish that works with your house, room for your usual deliveries, and a practical way to secure them.
Paint or stain. Traditional or simple. The dimensions and details will be shaped by how people actually use their porches.
02 / GETTING THE DETAILS RIGHT
Useful features. Nothing complicated.
Easy for the driver
No app download and no waiting for someone to answer. Simple access and secure repeat deliveries are the main problems I'm working to solve.
Security that fits
Keyed and electronic locks are being considered, including phone-controlled options. The final hardware will depend on outdoor testing and everyday use.
Technology with a job
Automatic relocking, door sensors, notifications and lighting are possibilities—not a fixed feature list. Solar and battery options are also being evaluated.
Pricing, dimensions, weather resistance and security performance have not been finalized. The planned cooler option is still being developed; no specific storage temperature or cooling duration is promised.
03 / THE PERSON BUILDING IT
I'm Ben.
I work with wood.
I have my own shop, woodworking tools, and experience building and finishing custom pieces. I also know the less glamorous part: getting a large, fully assembled wood product packed and shipped.
I helped set up my dad's Etsy business, Steber Cabinet Co., made its first Etsy sale, and worked out shipping logistics. Some of his customers have asked for wooden package boxes made in his style and painted to match their homes.
Community Proof is my own direction: custom wooden products with useful protection and carefully chosen technology. The package cabinet is where I'm starting.

A few practical answers.
Can I order a cabinet now?
Not yet. I'm gathering feedback and developing the first prototype. Email me to discuss your porch, typical deliveries or a custom finish. There is no purchase commitment.
Will it arrive assembled?
Yes—that is the plan for Community Proof products. Shipping costs will depend on the finished size, weight and destination, and will be discussed before any future order.
Can a driver make a second delivery?
That is a key design requirement still being tested. I don't want a new delivery to expose packages already inside. The access and compartment arrangement are not finalized.
Will it match my house?
Customization is central to the concept. I'd like to offer choices in paint, stain, dimensions, style and hardware. Available options will be confirmed after the prototype is tested.
